Our proverbs for today call us to be transparent, sensitive, and constant in our friendships. We need to give and receive honest rebuke from friends to be wise. We need to be sensitive to how we use our words and bear the burdens of others. We need to not be transactional in our friendships but love our friends for who they are. This is all perfectly found in Christ’s friendship with us, shown through the cross.
