Leadership and Staff
Pastor Tim was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia. He received a BS from Grove City College and an MDiv from Westminster Theological Seminary. After serving in the greater Philly area until January 2015, the Lord brought him and his beautiful wife, Helen, to Colorado, where they had both their kids, Junior and Winter.
Since being in CO, he has enjoyed the dry weather, beautiful outdoor views, and family friendly activities this state has to offer. He has been thrilled by the growth of the Korean food scene in the greater Denver area (and is excited to see what’s in store!). Most of all, he has been grateful to walk and grow with the New Life community in the gospel of grace. It’s his passion to see New Life and the greater Denver know and experience increasingly the endless love of God in Christ (Eph 3:18-19).
Tommy grew up in Southern California and graduated from UC Irvine in 1998. He worked in the Silicon Valley for 7 years and moved to Colorado in 2005. He has been attending New Life Mission Church since 1996 starting from Fullerton in So Cal, Nor Cal, and now, Colorado.
Tommy finds passion and joy when it comes to shepherding the church whether it be from a leadership perspective or at a personal level. He enjoys photography and fly fishing during his spare time. He is most thankful for his wife and three children.
Jimmy grew up in the Bay Area and graduated from the University of California, Davis. While attending Davis he met the love of his life, Jenny. They eventually tied the knot and have been happily married. Since their marriage God has blessed them with three crazy daughters whom they love very much. In 2016, they transplanted to Denver. Ever since, they have grow very fond of Colorado. They feel especially blessed having found a wonderful new family here at NLMC.
Elder Johan is a native of Colorado and graduated from the Air Force Academy in 2002. While being stationed in Los Angeles California, Johan received his MBA from UC Irvin and moved back to his home state in 2008. Johan is married to his lovely wife, Grace, and enjoys being closer to family.
Johan’s hobbies include: playing the guitar, the great outdoors, traveling, golfing, shooting, and the Denver Broncos.
He has a passion for the church and enjoys the Christ-centered teaching and community at New Life.
Deacon Sam was born and raised right here in Colorado, and works as a financial advisor. He got married in 2010, and God has blessed him and his wife with threw wonderful daughters, Elise, Annabelle, and Evelyn. He has a passion for speaking with new people as well.
When he’s not busy spending time with his family, his hobbies include mixed martial arts, playing the cello, photography, and in the winter, snowboarding.
Deacon Aaron was born in Seoul, Korea and immigrated to the island of Oahu at the age of three. He moved to Colorado in the year 2000 and has attended New Life since it was first planted in 2004.
He works in the Aerospace Industry as a Quality Assurance Inspector for SEAKR/RAYTHEON. He is married to his beautiful wife Ji Hyun, and enjoys God’s wonderful and marvelous creation of the Colorado outdoors.
Deacon James was born and raised in Colorado and graduated with a bachelor degree in finance and accounting from the University of Colorado at Denver in 2011. He enjoys fly fishing, good food, tinkering with cars, motorcycles, and flying kites.
He has been married to his strong-willed wife, Mina, since January of 2015 and enjoys building community at New Life especially if food is involved.
Deacon Caleb was born and raised in Colorado. He graduated with a BS from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a BSN from Denver. He has been at New Life since 2003 and met his lovely wife, Nina, through Community Groups in 2014. They are blessed with two energetic boys named Levi and Micah. Caleb enjoys building computers, learning to tinker with cars, and watching movies during his spare time.
Social Media Lead (Core member)
Jaimie was born and raised in Colorado. She also grew up at New Life Colorado. At New Life, Jaimie helps the college ministry and the social media team.
She graduated from American University in Washington DC in 2021. Jaimie enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and finding new places to eat.
EM Children's Education Lead (Core member)
Boram is from Hawaii and has been living in Colorado since 2013. She has a BA in communications/speech and later moved to California where she found her love for working in Early Childhood. She has worked in preschools and daycares for over 12 years and is currently continuing the passion with our Em Kids programs.
Colorado is home for her now with her husband David, and children Andie and Isaac. David and Boram have been attending New Life since they had Andie in 2016 and has enjoyed the community and love they have received from being a part of this church.
Boram has been blessed to be working with the Em education department and enjoys seeing God working through his young children.
EM Kids & Women's Group Lead
Nina was born in North Carolina and raised in Colorado. She has been attending New Life since 2014 and met her husband, Caleb, through Community Groups. Nina enjoys traveling, ordering take-out, and watching dramas/documentaries. The Lord has opened her heart to serving the children at New Life while praying for deeper community (Hebrews 10:24-25).
EM Babies Co-Lead
Jeanie was born and raised in Colorado. She graduated from University of Colorado at Boulder and is currently working as a Talent Acquisition Consultant at Centura Health.
Jeanie is married to her awesome husband, Jae, and they have two energetic sons, Noah and Nolan. She likes traveling to a beach as often as possible and enjoys snowboarding in the winter.
She has enjoyed walking with Lord and finding community at New Life. Watching EM babies on Sundays is something she looks forward to every week!

Administration (Core Member)
Danika was born and raised in Colorado. Since 2010, she has been attending New Life, where she finds joy in growing in her faith and being part of a supportive community. Outside of church, Danika is focused on pursuing her bachelor’s degree, majoring in biology and minoring in chemistry. In her free time, she loves reading, solving puzzles, and spending time with her two pugs, Max and Hazel.
