How are you doing this week?
At the start of each year, we re-visit our vision and our mission as a ministry. To remind you, it’s stated below:
EM Vision (where we desire to be): The richness of the gospel manifested in the hearts and minds of God’s people
EM Mission (how we get there): Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” -Matthew 28:19-20b

Reflecting on 2020, have you grown in the richness of the gospel, made disciples, or been transformed a little more into the image of Christ?

We talked about our mission statement this past Sunday, looking at Philemon. Paul interceded on behalf of a slave deserving death by asking the debt to be put into his account.

This story is the story of Christ for us, slaves to sin deserving of death. Christ intercedes on our behalf by putting our sin in His account on the cross. He died so that we may live. He paid the debt so that we may be set free.

How does the story of Christ speak to you this week? How does this empower you to make disciples of all nations?

In Christ,
Pastor Tim
