How are you doing this week? How is your faith?

All 24 verses of last Sunday’s passage declared to us that Jesus is the Savior of the world who has come to save us from our sins.

However, we place our faith in something or someone else as our “substitute savior.” Unfortunately, the ultimate problem for us is not sin, but rather something relational, emotional, financial, physical, or circumstantial.

Because sin is not our ultimate problem, Jesus is not our ultimate Savior. We replace Him with something or someone else which becomes our idol.

In what or whom are we placing our faith? What is our ultimate problem? Do we see Jesus as our Savior and do we trust in Him?

Our ultimate problem is not relational, emotional, financial, physical, or circumstantial. It’s all-of-the-above (even eternal) in sin. And Jesus is the all-of-the-above eternal Savior. Praise God for that.

Take some time this week to reflect on these truths. Pray to Him. Confess your struggles. Ask Him for faith.

Please pre-register (email info@newlifecolorado.net) if you want to worship in-person. Pray for one another and see you on Sunday for Lord’s Day Worship!

In Christ,
Pastor Tim
