The Vanity of Wisdom

King Solomon describes himself in our passage. We see him talk about his position, age, experience and wisdom. He tried to find the meaning of life and the answer to all problems through both wisdom and folly to no avail. Instead, he experienced vexation and sorrow. We do not have all the answers under the sun, but we see meaning in the wisdom and folly of the cross, through the Man of Sorrows.
