Leadership and Staff
Pastor Tim was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA. He received a B.S. from Grove City College in Molecular Biology, and an M. Div. from Westminster Theological Seminary in pastoral studies. For over six years, he served at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Chalfont, PA as an intern, assistant pastor, and then associate pastor. He also worked as a Barista for Starbucks for over two years.
After years of being mere acquaintances, Tim and Helen started dating in 2010 and tied the knot in March of 2013. They have one son, Tim Jr., and one daughter, Winter. They enjoy spending time with one another, and they are grateful to God for bringing them to Colorado. Prayerfully, they’re excited about how the Lord will work in and through them.
Pastor Tim bleeds green in that he loves the Philadelphia Eagles. Even though he’s not with fellow Eagles fans, he is excited about shining the green light in this blue and orange community. His hobbies include eating, talking, and watching.
Tommy grew up in Southern California and graduated from UC Irvine in 1998. He worked in the Silicon Valley for 7 years and moved to Colorado in 2005. He has been attending New Life Mission Church since 1996 starting from Fullerton in So Cal, Nor Cal, and now, Colorado.
Tommy finds passion and joy when it comes to shepherding the church whether it be from a leadership perspective or at a personal level. He enjoys photography and fly fishing during his spare time. He is most thankful for his wife and three children.
Elder Johan is a native of Colorado and graduated from the Air Force Academy in 2002. While being stationed in Los Angeles California, Johan received his MBA from UC Irvin and moved back to his home state in 2008. Johan is married to his lovely wife, Grace, and enjoys being closer to family.
Johan’s hobbies include: playing the guitar, the great outdoors, traveling, golfing, shooting, and the Denver Broncos.
He has a passion for the church and enjoys the Christ-centered teaching and community at New Life.
Deacon Sam was born and raised right here in Colorado, and works as a financial advisor at Wells Fargo. He got married in 2010, and God has blessed him and his wife with threw wonderful daughters, Elise, Annabelle, and Evelyn. He has a passion for speaking with new people as well.
When he’s not busy spending time with his family, his hobbies include mixed martial arts, playing the cello, photography, and in the winter, snowboarding.
Jimmy grew up in the Bay Area and graduated from the University of California, Davis in 1997. In 1994, while attending Davis an amazing thing happened…he met the catch of his life, Jenny! They eventually tied the knot 9 years later and have been happily married ever since (for the most part). In their marriage, God has blessed them with three crazy daughters whom they love very much. In 2016, they were asked by Charles Schwab to relocate to Denver. After much prayer and family discussions, they made the move. Ever since, they have grow very fond of Colorado. They feel especially blessed having found a wonderful new family here at NLMC. When time allows he likes to camp, snowboard, and golf with family and friends.
Deacon Jason, a Colorado native, has been attending New Life Mission Church since 2006. He is a manager by day and a husband/father by night.
Jason loves to see God’s people come together to worship and fellowship together. He enjoys playing many different sports and traveling with his family.
He is married to his beautiful wife Sunghee and have a daughter, Ella, and a son, Matthew.
Deacon Aaron was born in Seoul, Korea, but grew up in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. He works for Lockheed Martin as a Manufacturing Technician. He has a passion and desire to witness and share the Gospel wherever God places him.
He is married to his beautiful wife Ji Hyun, and enjoys fishing, watching sports, movies, and trying new and exotic food!
Deacon James was born and raised in Colorado and graduated with a bachelor degree in finance and accounting from the University of Colorado at Denver in 2011. He enjoys fly fishing, good food, tinkering with cars, motorcycles, and flying kites.
He has been married to his strong-willed wife, Mina, since January of 2015 and enjoys building community at New Life especially if food is involved.
