“All employees must wash their hands before returning to work” You’ve probably seen this sign numerous signs going to various restaurants and other public places. Over the years, more and more people have become conscious of cleanliness. From the use of hand sanitizer to using a towel to hold the bathroom door handle, we’ve become more conscious of germs and overall level of sanitation. Reading thru today’s chapters, we see elaborate steps that God’s servants had to take before entering the presence of God. It would clearly show them that all God’s people including the priests were sinners and were in need of atonement.
We would also witness this divide in the offerings that were given to the Lord. They were not to be done haphazardly but with deliberation and care. This reminds me of those who are extremely particular when it comes to the giving of gifts. You can’t just give them anything but it has to be well thought out and done. What was the point of all this? It would show us that we really needed a perfect Savior that would be the perfect sacrifice. God would show us that in Jesus Christ. By His perfect work on the cross, we are set free and delivered from judgment. And by His blood, we are indeed CLEAN in His sight.
Have an awesome week everyone and God bless!

P. Ben
